Your CID (Customer Identification Number) is a unique 9-digit number assigned to you by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission when you purchase a fishing license.

• Format: XXX-XXX-XXX (9 digits with dashes)
• Example: 123-456-789
• Location: Found on your PA fishing license card

The CID is required for 2014-2022 buttons because these buttons were originally issued with personalized CID numbers. For 2023-2025 buttons, the CID is optional.

You can find your CID number in the following places:

• On your fishing license card: Look for the 9-digit number printed on the front of your license, typically labeled "CID" or "Customer ID"
• Online account: Log into your PA Fish and Boat Commission account to view your license information
• Previous license receipts: If you purchased online, check your confirmation email

The CID appears near the top of your license, usually in the format XXX-XXX-XXX.

Buttons for license years 2014-2022 require your CID for historical accuracy:

• The original PA fishing license holder buttons from these years were issued with the license holder's CID printed on them
• By entering your CID, we create an authentic replica that matches what your original button would have looked like
• This makes these buttons true collectibles that commemorate your specific fishing license from that year

Buttons for 2023 and later use a different format that doesn't include personalized CID numbers, so the CID is optional for those years.

If you've lost or can't remember your CID from a previous year, here are your options:

• Contact the PA Fish and Boat Commission: They can look up your historical license information

Have your personal information ready (name, date of birth, address from that time period) to help them locate your records.

• Shipping: Standard USPS delivery (3-5 business days)
• Total time: Usually 1-2 weeks from order to delivery

• Contact us within 14 days: Please report any issues within 14 days of receiving your order
• Personalized items: Since buttons with CID numbers are personalized, we cannot accept returns for change of mind
• Wrong CID? Double-check your CID before ordering. We print exactly what you enter.
